The Beauty Revival Sectional Guide

One of the questions we get asked most often is “ Where is your sectional from?” We love our sectional and received it from The Brick last year. We have actually owned it in both dark grey and cotton color and have been very happy with it. The Brick unfortunately does not ship nor is it available in the U.S so I wanted to compile a guide for what to look for in a sectional as well as give 8 other options, AND our exact sectional in two different color choices for your shopping convenance!

When shopping for a sectional, I love to stick to a mid century modern shape. This looks less frumpy to me than a big boxy sectional but I also don’t love something that is tooooo streamlined either. If it looks like something you could find on a space age set, you won’t find it in our home. Its a balance. Streamlined, but just enough haha

I also always make sure I look at the legs of my sofas and sectionals. I tend to steer away from chunky square shaped legs and lean towards streamlined mid century shaped legs. Also keep in mind the color of your furniture legs with the rest of your furniture and flooring. If everything else in your home is white oak, I wouldn’t choose a cognac tinted leg and so on.

Our sectional is cream, and although it definitely gets dirty I have found a good steam cleaner and my favourite clean ing product keep it in tip top shape. I steam clean our sectional approximately every 2-3 months.

Here is the steam cleaner we use, and my favourite spot removal cleaner. This cleaner is technically for hand washing delicate clothing BUT YOU GUYS its amazing and I use it in our Bissel instead of the cleaner they recommend. My tip is to steam clean in the evening before bed, it will still be a little damp in the morning but we just toss a blanket on it if we are lounging on it the next day.

Today is supposed to be 🌞🌞🌞 and I’ve go Today is supposed to be 🌞🌞🌞 and I’ve got my favourite iced coffee ready! I use the Costco Starbucks iced coffee, 2 pumps of homemade coconut syrup and a good splash of cream.
Homemade coconut syrup recipe:
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
2 tsp artificial coconut extract (I buy mine one Amazon)
Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Once the sugar has dissolved remove from heat and let cool. That’s it! I store mine in an old glass torani syrup bottle and then I am able to just pump it in my coffee like a real life barista ⭐️
What’s your favourite way to drink iced coffee?!?
