I love fall. It’s my absolute favourite season of the year. I love the cool crisp weather, the cozy sweaters and pumpkins everywhere. But my favourite thing about fall is always the home decor.
I love decorating for fall in our home but I tend to decorate less with traditional fall type decor like pumpkins, themed pillows etc. Instead I like to use color and pattern to create a change in our space for the season.
This fall southwestern inspired decor is a huge trend. I thought I would show how I would incorporate this style into a living room design board featuring products from Walmart’s home collection!
Walmart is one of my go to places when it comes to shopping for home decor that is both on trend and affordable. They have an amazing selection of fall decor that fit right into the Southwestern decor trend.
How to add southwestern inspired decor to your living room
I love southwestern style. It’s so cozy and warm and full of texture, three of my favourites for decorating a living room!
When it comes to creating a southwestern theme’d living room though I focused on the colors and textures I think of when I think southwestern style. Warm cognac’s, mauves and roses scream southwestern style to me. I also love Walmart’s selection of affordable throw pillows with lots of texture.
