In todays post I have shared three easy Nutella recipes for you to try. All centred around our families favourite simple soft pretzel recipe!
This pretzel dough is very easy to make and only requires 5 min. of needing time in your stand mixer (or by hand) and 15. min. to rise so you can have these delicious Nutella soft pretzels on your table in under 45 min!

Soft Pretzel Recipe
For all three of these desserts you will need our families favourite soft pretzel dough recipe which you can find here.
Prepare the soft pretzels dough up until the stage of rolling and shaping the dough into pretzel shapes.
Nutella Stuffed Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Donuts
For the Nutella Stuffed Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Donuts separate your dough into 6 even sized balls. In the centre of each ball make a little nest to stuff the Nutella. Make sure you do not break through to the other side, so your Nutella doesn’t leak out everywhere while baking. (Technique shown in our video above.)
Take approx. 1 tbsp. of Nutella, or any hazelnut spread of your choice and spoon it into the little nest you made.
Now you are going to gently pinch and pull the dough up over the Nutella. This is a messy procedure but so so worth it and even though some of the Nutella was swirl in with the pretzel dough, you. will still be left with a pocket of chocolatey goodness in the centre once these have bakes.
Lay each pretzel donut into the baking soda solution for app 30 sec per side then place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with some sea salt.
Bake at 475 degrees for 10 min. Remove and cover with melted butter and good a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar.
These Nutella stuffed cinnamon sugar pretzel donuts need to be stored in an air tight container or ziplock bag to stay fresh.
Nutella Soft Pretzels
For this easy Nutella dessert, prepare your soft pretzel dough exactly as the recipe specifies, baking them as directed and brushing with butter.
Then melt 1/2 cup of Nutella in the microwave for app. 25-30 seconds or on your stove top. Take a large spoon and drizzle your melted Nutella back and forth over your baked soft pretzels, letting it fall off your spoons in ribbons onto your pretzel. Sprinkle with sea salt.
