In this post I wanted to share my must have kitchen tools for a minimalist small kitchen as well as take you along with me as I declutter my kitchen tool drawers and donate what we actually don’t use!
The kitchen in our house is definitely not large by any stretch of the imagination. Everytime I share anything about the size of our kitchen on Instagram however I inevitably always recieve comments that its really not that small. And although I know there are plenty of kitchens that are smaller, ours is lacking in one key area and that is pantry storage. Because of this we use a lot of our cabinets to store dried goods, flour, sugar what have you and so I have found myself pairing down my kitchen tools to only the essentials over the last couple years as we have lived here.
Must have kitchen tools for a minimalist small kitchen
My must have kitchen tools are
we also have a food processor however I find myself hardly ever using it. I would get rid of it but every once in a while there is a recipe that has to use it otherwise I would.
Minimalist Kitchen Utensils
In this video I go through my two utensil drawers and get rid of extras that have accumulated. These are items that were either gifted to me or I thought would be useful and never ended up using. These kinds of things are always accumulating land I find spending 10 min a day on decluttering a drawer or closet always helps in keeping our home clutter free!
Items I got rid of
Some items I got rid of were
- Avocado slicer and pitter
- meat tenderizer
- random mixing spoon
- extra potato peeler
