Faux Mantel Fall Decor

My favourite type of fall decor would probably be all the cozy fireplaces, with beautiful decor you see all over Pinterest.

We don’t have a fireplace in our living room, but we did install a super long floating shelf when we first moved in.

I use this as my “faux mantel” and decorate it for the seasons. Its the perfect way to get that cozy fall decor into our living room, even though we don’t have a fireplace.

Floating Shelves

I often share about my love for floating shelves here on the blog and on our Instagram channel.

I love them because they are minimal looking so your decor can be the star AND the are deep. This is very important when it comes to a shelf in my opinion.

There is nothing worse than installing a shelf whether it be on a fireplace or just your wall and realizing its to shallow to hold your favourite pieces.
