Easy Maple Chili Recipe with Sweet Buns
My mom has been making this chili recipe for as long as I can remember. I had no idea how simple it was until I asked for the recipe to make it for my own family. But it’s so easy we added it to our weekly rotation and everyone loves it!
I only modified one ingredient from the way mom used to make it. I add maple style baked beans to our chili.
This was one of those happy accident kind of things. We were out of our regular chili baked beans I usually add and all I had were the maple style. We tossed em in there and everyone raved. So we have been doing it ever since.

Maple Chili Recipe
To make this recipe you will need
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of cooked ground beef
- 1 can of tomato soup
- 1 can of corn
- 1 can of maple style baked beans
- 1 can of red kidney beans
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp chilli powder

How to make:
Combine the beef, cans or corn, beans and tomato soup as well as your spices into a medium size pot. Stir well to combine all the ingredients then cook on medium on your stove top for 1/2 hr. Alternatively you can simmer on low for a couple hours if you have the time.
If you would like your chili to be a little wetter you can add another can of tomato soup. Do not drain or rinse your beans prior to adding.
Serve with Hawaiian sweet rolls warmed in the oven and slathered with butter. Yum! If you do not like sweet with your savoury you could also serve this chili with regular buns, Tostito chips or one of my favourites fritos!
Don’t forget the cheese and sour cream. Enjoy!
