Boho farmhouse laundry room makeover. My sister Krista hired Jade to do a Laundry Room Reno when their hot water tank burst in the beginning of the year. Here are all the details of her beautiful boho laundry room!

The Inspiration

Krista spent some time pinning all her favourite laundry rooms on Pinterest so we could get a feel for exactly what she wanted in her space. This is a great way to narrow down your style, especially if you feel like you love a lot of different design styles.

Her favourite elements of this laundry room were the contrast between the flooring and the black Cabinets. She also loved the apron front sink and the over all farmhouse feeling it has.

We started by hunting for the perfect flooring. She ended up going with a black and white hexagon floral pattern using larger hexagons. We picked ours up at a local shop here in Grande Prairie. Similar styles can be found here and here.

The perfect sink

After we found the perfect tile we were on the hunt for the perfect sink. Krista loved the look of the apron front sink, however these are very expensive. I ended up sourcing this one for her instead and it turned out beautifuly!

Finishing details

After that we needed to figure out a layout that would fit both cabinets and her sink. We ended up doing only lower cabinets on the one wall. Krista loved the idea of an open shelf so we took that around almost all her walls, even installing it across her window.
