Hey guys! We are about half way through the fall season, so in todays post I wanted to share a simple, minimal way I like to decorate for fall on my floating shelves.
I don’t like to go too crazy on seasonal decor. I always end up feeling like its taking over everything, and want to burn it all by the end of the season if I go too crazy, so over the years I have learned, that for me, less is more!
In todays post I will specifically be sharing how I styled my floating shelves for fall, but this could also apply to anywhere in the house. A few small fall-esq touches and your home will feel cozy and warm without looking like the fall section at Marshalls blew up in it.
Shop Boho Farmhouse Shelf Decor
Instead of going crazy on seasonal decor, I focus on texture and color to bring in that cozy fall vibe in our living room. In this #shelfie I used warm browns, brass candle sticks and vintage books to create a cozy fall feeling.
I finished it off by adding in a couple small, neutral decorative pumpkins that I picked up a few years ago at Michaels Crafts. These exact ones are no longer available but I have linked similar options below.
I always always always add plants to by shelves. Plants make your shelf decor feel “alive” and fresh. And shelf is ever complete without some art, and of course books!
