5 Faux plants that look like the real thing!
I don’t know about you but I am always on the hunt for beautiful faux plants for our home. There are lots of faux plants on the market these days but finding realistic faux plants can be tricky!
In todays post I am partnering with Decors Veronneau to share 5 of my favourite faux plants that look so realistic, no one will ever know they aren’t the real deal.
Decors Veronneau is based in Canada. They specialize in quality artificial plants, and with over 500 choices they are a great place to source faux plants online.
5 Faux Plants That Look Like the Real Thing!
When it comes to styling our coffee table, my go to decor is a large statement vase with either branches or a beautiful potted plant! When I was shopping on the Decors Veronneau website I knew I wanted to find a statement piece that would stand out on our coffee table.
This dried pampas plant definitely fit the bill and its the perfect coffee table decor for summer and fall! I love the organic look, and all the texture it adds to our space.
A must have for all shelf styling is at least one plant! Plants bring life to every space and the are always my jumping off place when it comes to styling any of the shelves in our home.
Instead of using a ton of small decorative objects on my shelves, I like to stick to larger pieces and scatter in a couple smaller items to finish off the look. The perfect larger piece is a good size plant and complimentary plant pot. I love the scale of this artificial Clusia plant and the deep green really stands out with the rest of our decor.
We have floating shelves in our kitchen but unfortunately we do not get a lot of natural light. Faux plants are the perfect solution for areas in your home that get little to no light like our tiny kitchen.
I love love love the look of Pothos especially dangling over the edge of a shelf. I am also always on the hunt for unique coloured leaves that add depth and dimension to the rooms I am styling and I absolutely love the shades of green in this artificial pothos.
Decors Veronneau has a stunning selection of larger floor plants. I loved this cute baby Schefflera plant. It’s the perfect size for a living room, bedroom or even your dining room!
Depending on where you are putting your floor plant you can pot it in a regular pot if you don’t need any extra height or use a plant stand if you need to elevate your faux plant up a little. I loved the size of the baby Schefflera and how perfectly it fits under the mantel of our little fireplace in our cozy dinning room.
Last but not least is the adorable little Sansevieria plant aka a Snake Plant. Snake plants are supposed to be one of those plants that are hard to kill however we had one here in my daughter Paisleys room and we still managed to kill ours haha. Plants can be tricky like that sometimes.
Now she has her very own faux snake plant without the fear of keeping it alive. Both our girls bedrooms face West so the sun in the summer can be brutal, causing their rooms to be super super hot even with air conditioning. Because of this we try to keep their bedroom curtains closed most of the time in the summer and thats definitely not going to work when it comes to keeping any real plants in their rooms.
Faux plants are perfect for problem rooms like theirs, they are also ideal for little kids bedrooms because you don’t have to worry about them possibly snacking on the leaves of a real plant (been there) or tossing dirt around their rooms while you are in the shower (ditto). I love the boho vibes of this Sansevieria in this cute little black floor stand! Perfect for Paisleys boho bedroom.
I hope you enjoyed this post featuring my favourite faux plants that look like the real thing from Decors Veronneau!
